Homicide detectives attached to the St Andrew Central Police Division are on Tuesday expected to lay murder charges against a 23 year old Assistant Chef for the killing of Italian chef, Pablo Auigliano.
Mr. Auigliano was stabbed to death at a restaurant at the Market Place on Constant Spring Road in St. Andrew last evening.
A senior investigator told RJR News that they are now making arrangements for the 23 year old Jamaican woman to be questioned in the presence of an attorney.
He says charges will be laid after she's interrogated.
It's reported that Mr. Auigliano was on duty in the kitchen at the eatery when he was accidentally splashed with hot oil by the female chef.
The two reportedly had an altercation which was temporarily curtailed when their co-workers intervened.
However, the two later renewed their argument during which Mr. Auigliano was stabbed in the neck with a knife.
The 40 year old Italian died on the spot.
