Traffic changes on Ocean Boulevard
There will be temporary changes to the movement of traffic along Ocean Boulevard in downtown Kingston starting on Tuesday, August 23.
The changes, which will remain in effect for the next three weeks, are to facilitate repairs to the road.
Two-way traffic will be allowed along the east and west bound lanes while repairs are carried out.
The National Works Agency (NWA) says no parking will be allowed along Ocean Boulevard for the duration of the project.
Motorists may use the alternative routes, Port Royal Street or Harbour Street.
Meanwhile, the NWA’s pavement works now underway in the Cross Roads area of St. Andrew have been extended to next Monday.
The NWA is advising motorists and pedestrians to obey all posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons at both locations.
