Portmore United to face Harbour View in final round of Premier League

02:17pm | Sat, January 07, 2012

Despite being the front runners for a place in the second end of round final of the Red Stripe Premier League, coach of Portmore United Calvin Lewis says they are not looking beyond Sunday's game against Harbour View.
Portmore lead the second round on 19 points, with 3 games remaining, and victory at the compound will leave them needing just two points from the last two games to reach another incentive final.  However, Lewis is only keen about the game on Sunday.
Harbour View are sitting 11 points behind Portmore in the overall standings and 9 behind in round two and Coach Donavon Hayles admits it is late for his team.
Joint third-place Tivoli Gardens will host second place Humble Lion at the Edward Seaga complex at 5:00 pm.
Montego Bay United will be hoping to continue their climb when they host Highgate United at 6:00 pm, while Boy's Town host Sporting Central Academy at 3:00 pm.
Arnett Gardens, who surprised Harbour View in mid-week will be hoping to get the better of Reno at the Tony Spaulding complex at 6:00 pm.

Coach Paul ‘Tegat’ Davis is confident his players can repeat the performance they had on Wednesday.
