07:06am | Sun, April 01, 2012

The People's National Party National Executive Council (NEC)is scheduled to meet Sunday  morning at the Manchester High School in Mandeville.

The NEC meeting scheduled for 10 o'clock follows last Monday's landslide local Government election victory by the governing party.
All Councilors and Councilor Candidates have been invited.

PNP Deputy General Secretary, Julian Robinson, says Sunday morning's  meeting will include the presentation of several reports.
“The General Secretary will give a report, the Chairman will have his opening remarks and a report. The highlight of the meeting will be the presentation by the party leader. The context of just completing a local government election where all the mayors are PNP mayors, I think the party leader wants the opportunity to indicate the kind of governance she expects from the leadership of the party going forward” he said.
