RJR News has obtained the names of two of three persons who were shot and killed in a section of Central Village in St. Catherine on Friday night.
They are 28-year-old Craig Cayman, and his 23-year-old brother, Shane Cayman.
The third victim is known only by his alias, "Wayne".
It's reported that the three men were standing beside a motor vehicle in an area known as Board Jungle in Big Lane, when heavily-armed men walked up to them and opened fire.
Two of them died on the spot, while the other was taken to hospital, where he died.
The killings are said to be linked to an incident in which armed men were seeking a member of the community.   However, they were unsuccessful in locating him.
 Meanwhile, Denise Daley , the Member of Parliament for St. Catherine Eastern, in which Central Village is located expressed sadness at the incident.
 
She lamented that the peace that the community has been enjoying has been shattered
