The body of an unidentified man was discovered, on Sunday morning, in a cane field in Llandilo, Savanna-la-Mar, in Westmoreland.  
Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are that about 7:45 a passerby stumbled upon the body and alerted the police, who subsequently processed the scene and removed the body to the morgue.  
The body, which was clad in a beige t-shirt and beige pants, is of medium build, dark complexion, about 178 centimetres or 5 feet 10 inches long, and has a low-cut hairstyle.
It is believed that the deceased was in his thirties.  
Investigators are asking anyone who may have any information that may assist them in identifying the body, to contact the Savanna-la-Mar Police at 955-2536 or 955-2758, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.
