The Kolkata Knight Riders team of West Indies spinner Sunil Narine are the champions of the 2012 Indian 20/20 premier league after beating the Chennai Super-Kings, team of Dwayne Bravo by 5 wickets in the final on Sunday.
Sent to bat Chennai posted a competitive 190-3 with Suresh Raina scoring 73,Mike Hussey 54 and Murali Vijay 42.
Narine ended wicket-less for 37 from his 4 overs.
In reply a 136 run 2nd wicket partnership between Manvinder Bisla 89 and Jacques  Kallis 69 laid the foundation for the Knight-Riders who achieved victory at 192-5 n 19.4 overs.
Bravo ended with 1-49 from 3.4 overs while Doug Bollinger grabbed 2-25.
