The St. Catherine Major Investigation Task Force (MIT) has laid charges against a 19-year-old resident of Greater Portmore, St. Catherine, following the killing of a teenager of the same community.
Tajay Brown was charged with murder and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, after being pointed out in an identification parade.
It is reported, that on August 14, around 9:30 p.m, 17-year-old Kevon Thompson and another man, were sitting on a wall, when Brown approached them and opened fire.
Both men were hit and were taken to hospital, where Thompson was pronounced dead
Following an investigation, Brown was arrested.
